 The church of St Wendreda, was originally erected about 1346, and is built in the Gothic style, consisting of chancel, clerestoried nave, aisles, south porch and an embattled western tower, with stone spire.

Town Hall and Market Place The Town Hall was built in 1900 originally as the Corn Exchange. The actual Market Place dates back to 1670, when the then Lord of the Manor, provided land for for a weekly market of local produce.

The Stone Cross believed to have been built during the early 16th century. It may mark the site of an earlier market place or it may also have been built by monks as a shrine to St. Wendreda. No-one really knows
